Issaquah Apartments and Townhomes

Updated 2026. The complex is under new management and the biggest change is rent can now be paid in increments of two payments in one month. This could be helpful for folks who have a harder time paying the large rental price once a month. This is for the apartments - I've heard from neighbors the townhouses are different. This is best apartment complex I have lived in. The apartments are large, you're in a great area that is pretty diverse given it's the PNW and you're close to all the outdoor activities you could want (including hiking, lakes, rivers, etc.) but you're still close to the city and general suburb needs (grocery stores, restaurants, schools, churches, HomeGoods, etc.). The apartment is also on a bus line if you need to commute and there is a nearby park and ride you could walk to. Seattle is about 30 minutes away by car, Bellevue about 20 minutes away. We don't really hear our next door neighbors. You hear them, but it's white noise, easily drowned out. You get one free covered parking space. However, there is little space for 2nd cars or visitors. The issue with this is if the extra parking fills I have no idea where your guests (or you) would park as there isn't anything close by for excess (like a neighborhood side street). I do not know how the apartment could fix this but it is something to keep in mind if you will have more than 1 car. The grounds are well maintained and they've done some renovations to the pool area and rooves as of early 2024. They are also slowly updating the apartments as they become available, which means an increase of rent rates. Considering a lot of other places, the rent increases aren't terrible. Ours was raised 15% for this next year, and previous years they barely raised ours 5% (we have also been here for 5+ years). I feel they did people right during COVD, but now they are making up for it with the renos they are doing. No issues with maintenance. You can generally get someone in within a week. We have an ant issue, they come and go constantly and it's easier just to deal with it ourselves, but when we do report it someone is here within a week or so. When they have general changes happening (updating fire alarms, heating ducks, painting, etc.) they generally give folks a few days' notice. Some other perks of the complex are the valet trash, unfortunately there is no valet recycling so you still have to do that yourself. They allow cats and dogs (the usual dog breed restrictions). We do not have a pet, but know there are small dog areas and lots of stands with free pet waste bags and bins to toss them out. Not everyone uses these bags, but the complex is pretty quick to pick them up. There are also two nearby dog parks, should you want to drive to them. Leasing staff is friendly and responsive. We have generally dealt with Alexia who has been wonderful over the years. This is an extremely expensive apartment complex for those not used to Seattle area prices ($2500+ for 1 bedroom). However, for the views you may get (our living/dining/kitchen faces the mountains!), the area, and the perks this place is better than an equivalently priced apartments in Seattle.

Living at the Timbers has been such a pleasure. The location is perfect, the apartments have been tastefully renovated, the community is well maintained, and my view of Tiger Mountain is to die for. But the real diamond of this place are the people who manage it. Courtney, Versavia, and Alexia are genuinely nice people and unfailingly helpful. Everything is responded to with a positive attitude and a smile. How can you not love that? I'm so happy I had an opportunity to live here and you will be too.

Versavia (V) was wonderful to work with. Even though I was still shopping around, she was very patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. She provided excellent customer service, genuinely listened to my concerns, and worked to find the right apartment home based on my needs. She was also very hospitable, offering complimentary beverages and coffee, which made the experience even more welcoming.

My wife and I have lived here since 2022. From the beginning, Alexia Rainwater has helped us with an approachable demeanor, and a friendly and professional attitude. From finding our first home here, transferring to another home within the community, assisting with maintenance requests, and being available for general inquiries; Alexia has been our go-to for everything. Additionally, our experience with Alex on the maintenance team has been equally pleasant. When coming to resolve any requests, Alex has been friendly, professional, and mindful of our pets and property. Aside from our personal experience, the property is well-maintained and conveniently located. If anyone is looking for a new home, we highly recommend giving Alexia a call so she can help you out. The Timbers by far is the best place I've lived at in the Seattle area. The office staff gives excellent customer service. I love the townhome with the attached garage. I love the fact they have a location for private gatherings, a computer room with free printing. I simply love this community. They are on top of maintenance too.
